LIFE: A Transdisciplinary Inquiry explores nature, cognition, and society as an interwoven tapestry across disciplinary boundaries, examining how communication and information are instrumental in and for living systems. Contributors, who come from the natural sciences, cognitive sciences, social sciences, the arts, and humanities, investigate everyday life and expand upon an integrative account of media as environments and technologies. It follows and builds upon the 2021 collection MEDIA: A Transdisciplinary Inquiry.
