On Sadie’s eighteenth birthday, her boss Bev celebrates with her after work in the See Birds Diner on Bainbridge Island, Washington, where both women work. Bev doesn’t know Sadie has a plan focused on the Coast Starlight. She's gonna get on that train and head to San Diego, California.
